Veganuary is over, what next?

Yep - that one month a year where the whole world is trying to reset, or better yet, the human race tries to make up for all the animals it consumes is coming to an end.
But that doesn't mean you need to stop too.
When I first became vegan, I too was only meant to do it for a month. But then I watched Vegucation...and everything changed. Veganism, I found, is a choice one must make, but a lifestyle that one must embrace seriously for it can cause such an enormously positive impact on our planet.
Sometimes, going cold turkey vegan is difficult though. That is understandable. That's why I was vegetarian for seven years beforehand. Thus, if you are one of those people that took on veganism way too fast - take my advice and slow it down, go back to basics.
Going back doesn't necessarily have to mean being a full on omnivore again. But maybe removing one element out of your diet a week may make it easier for your body to transition between diets.
I personally suggest starting with red meat, followed by all other meats, then fish, then dairy, and finally eggs. After a month of this, you can then start to focus on the details - the more nitty gritty parts of a Vegan lifestyle. This could include foods cooked in animal fats you didn't know about, or throwing out those leather boots you've been so reluctant to part ways with.
Back to the point.
Being Vegan doesn't come naturally to everyone. We've been eating and using animals to satisfy our needs for as long as we can remember - so forgive yourself if you slip up from time to time. Eventually it'll become easier and before you know it, Veganuary will turn into Veganyear... Vegandecade... and so on...
Let me know if you are having any trouble with your transition and I will do everything I can to help make it easier for you.
I am also a newby, so if anyone gets the struggle...it's me.
